VINTAGE LED ZEPPELIN T-SHIRT SELLS FOR $10,000!
Vintage t shirts are known to sell for a ton of money online, but recently a vintage Led Zeppelin t-shirt took the record for the most expensive vintage band t-shirt ever when it sold for $10,000! It was a rare Zeppelin t shirt that was part of a limited edition of shirts printed back in 1979. It also doubled as a backstage pass for one of the band’s 1979 UK performances.
The vintage Led Zeppelin t shirt was purchased by an anonymous buyer on the popular auction site ebay.com. Kyle Erminger posted the shirt on the auction site. He originally bought it for a little more than $100.
Kurt Cobain's Guitar Sells For $6 Million.
An Auction for Kurt Cobain's guitar used in the 1993 MTV unplugged performance was expected to sell for over $1 Million dollars. This rare D18-E guitar is set to be listed with a various other items owned by Nirvana's Front man.
The Guitar, which was previous owned by his daughter, was reported to be given up during her divorce. The guitar was customized by adding a Bartolini pickup to the sound hole by Cobain. This will include the hard shelled case decorate by Kurt with flyers from Poison Idea's 1990 album "Feel the Darkness". There are three baggage claim stubs are still stuck to the handle as well.
The D18-E guitar would have tremendous value even without its famous former owner. It is 1 of 302 made by the Martin Guitar company which has made guitars since 1833. Kurt's cardigan sold for $333,000 and another guitar he owned sold for $340,000.
